What is a Teen Boot Camp?
Boot camps are programs that are frequently utilized by parents who looking for some type of a quick fix. These youth boot camps usually range in time from 7-30 day periods of treatment. Some counselors do not feel that state-run juvenile boot camps provide the necessary after-care that is needed to make a permanent change in a troubled teen's life. Traditionally a parent will find that upon returning from these military style boot camps their child shows signs of improvement for days or even weeks. But all too often, the teen then reverts back to his old ways after the fear of seniority disappears.
